Economy & progression
CycloDraft has three main currencies that all feed into the same loop: collect better riders, perform better in races, earn better rewards.
- Earned from race rewards.
- Log in daily to claim a coin bonus โ consecutive logins increase the streak bonus.
- Spend coins in the Store to buy packs.
- The primary source of new riders.
- Earned as race rewards or purchased with coins.
- Each pack guarantees a fixed number of riders per rarity tier.
- Generated from duplicate riders.
- Five types matching the five rider stats.
- Spend shards to craft any specific rider you want.
Collect every rider from a real-world cycling team and claim a special team completion reward. Visit the Teams page to track your progress across all squads.
Rider stats
Every rider card shows five speciality stats that reflect their real-world strengths. These stats influence which races a rider is suited for and also determine shard values when a duplicate is converted.
The OVR value shown on each card is a weighted summary of all five stats. The best stat contributes the most to OVR (80%), followed by the second-best (10%), with the remaining three stats sharing the rest.
Formula: OVR = 0.80 ร S1 + 0.10 ร S2 + 0.05 ร S3 + 0.025 ร S4 + 0.025 ร S5
Packs
Packs are the primary way to build your collection. Each pack contains a set number of rider slots across different rarity tiers. Higher-cost packs guarantee more rare or epic slots, increasing your chances of landing a top rider.
- Each slot in a pack is filled with a randomly selected rider of the specified rarity.
- If the rider you receive is already in your collection, it becomes a duplicate and is automatically converted into shards.
- You can buy packs from the Store using coins.
Duplicates & shards
When you pull a rider you already own, the duplicate is automatically converted into shards. You choose which of the five shard types to receive โ the amount depends on the rider's stat value for that type.
Crafting costs are based on the rider's two strongest stats. Rarity has no effect.
Races & team submission
CycloDraft supports one-day races, stage races, and general classification (GC) events based on the real-world cycling calendar. Before each race you can submit a team to compete.
- Pick exactly 4 riders from your collection.
- A Golden Spot is added automatically after results โ it's filled with the best-scoring rider from your collection who finished the race.
- Each rider can only appear once per team.
- Submissions close when the race starts โ make sure to submit before the deadline.
- You can update your team at any time before the deadline.
Scoring & rewards
After a race finishes, each of your submitted riders earns points based on their finishing position. The sum of all five riders (your four picks plus the Golden Spot) determines which reward tier you hit. See the full scoring & rewards table for all positions and race classes.
Positions 31+ each award 1 point.
